EMPTY (2005)

EDITION OVERVIEW: The EMPTY DVD is a 2-Disc special edition set. With 2 discs we were able to cram every single feature available into this edition. Included in the set are 2 versions of the movie and behind the scenes material.

DISC ONE DETAILS:

1) The movie in it's 50 minute Director's Cut version.

2) Chapter Selection

3) Director's Commentary track with Ramon Vasquez Jr.

4) Music Audio Track - with this feature you can watch the movie with only the music playing. Some music tracks run long in their entirety.

5) EMPTY Official Trailer - this is the official trailer for the film with a runtime of two minutes.

6) Unofficial Gag Trailer - this is a one minute trailer cut to the MIAMI VICE trailer for fun.

DISC TWO DETAILS:

1) Behind the Scenes Video Clips - this features 5 BTS clips from all five weekends of the one month (and 1 day) production.

2) Cast and Crew Bios - this includes a small bio and current information for all major cast and crew members.

3) The Script - with this feature you can read the original SCRIPT for the film in it's entirety. This feature works like a regular piece of video with chapter breaks and fast forward or rewind options.

4) The Soundtrack - with this feature you can listen to all major pieces of music from the film. A total of 7 tracks are available in their entirety.

5) Trey's Corner Features - this is a special section dedicated to Trey Bayles who provided music for the film. Included are:

  A) Trey On Set - A behind the scenes short interview with Trey as he reprises his role of 'Lims' from a previous Vasquez Jr. short film.

  B) Trey Live at Ramon's House - a short arrangement of songs played by Trey while on break during the 2nd day of shooting in City Heights.

6) Extra Trailers - this includes the trailers to current Diffusion Films and City Band short films. Included are trailers to AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, FINAL ROUND, FOREBODING and SIGN.

7) Promotional Material - This includes 2 promotional features for the film. Included is a 30 minute cut of the film. This was cut for festival submissions in which the 50 minute cut was too long. Also included is a digital version of the EMPTY Press Kit.
